Collaboration: Tuskegee University Harlem Shake
11:56
I collaborated with CollegeBread.com to bring the Harlem Shake craze to a HBCU! It was fun filled event, and the collaboration to draw traffic to the CollegeBread website was a success. The video even made on the front of the Harlem Shake website, and a few other blogs. I LOVE MY HBCU.
Later we aimed for round two in order to encourage more people to come together and act together. This is what we came out with:
The Harlem Shake craze had later picked up flack about not being the original Harlem Shake dance, and I wasn't against that statement, I was only against the fact that most of them were enraged by the craze. I can't wrap my 3rain around the concept that peoples self expression, happiness, and fun would make someone else mad. I saw the Harlem Shake as a form of unity, and expression. Many of the people who did this craze came together, and got out some much needed expression, especially being trapped in a world where everything is so serious. What's your take on the Harlem Shake?
